1. BPSC Mains Exam Structure:
- General Hindi: 100 Marks (Qualifying, 30% marks required).
- General Studies Paper I: 300 Marks.
- General Studies Paper II: 300 Marks.
- Essay: 300 Marks.
- Optional Subject: 100 Marks (MCQ Based, Qualifying only).
- Total Merit Marks: 900 Marks (GS I + GS II + Essay).
2. Note on Optional Subject:
The Optional Subject paper is objective (MCQ) and qualifying in nature. Marks obtained in the Optional paper will not be counted for the final merit list.
