1. Selection Process:
- One Tier Examination: Objective type multiple choice questions.
- Subjects: General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, Test of Hindi Language & Comprehension, and Test of English Language & Comprehension.
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
2. Salary / Pay Scale:
Pay Level-1: ₹ 18,000 – ₹ 56,900 (Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial). Total in-hand salary including DA and HRA is approximately ₹ 28,000 – ₹ 32,000/- depending on the department.
3. Job Profile:
MTS staff are responsible for general cleanliness, carrying files, photocopy work, delivery of dak, and other non-clerical tasks within the department.
