Essential Subject Combinations (TGT)
To apply for TGT posts, you must meet the following specific subject requirements in your Graduation:
TGT Post	Required Subject Combination in Graduation
TGT Maths	Maths as Main subject in all 3 years. PLUS Physics for at least 2 years. PLUS Any one of Chemistry / Electronics / CS / Statistics.
TGT Science	Botany, Zoology, and Chemistry. Must have studied these subjects for at least 2 years.
TGT Social Studies	Any two: History, Geography, Economics, Pol. Science. Condition: One must be either History or Geography.
Revised Qualification Rules
PGT English/Hindi	Requirement to study the subject at Graduation Level has been removed. Master’s Degree (50%) + B.Ed is sufficient.
JSA (Clerk)	Typing Speed Unified: 35 w.p.m. in English OR 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer.
Exam Pattern: Tier 1 (Common)
Total Questions: 100 Total Marks: 300 (3 Marks per Question) Negative Marking: 1/3rd (1 Mark deducted for wrong answer) Time: 2 Hours

Qualifying in nature. No Interview for JSA/SSA. Typing Test: On Computer (35 wpm Eng / 30 wpm Hindi). CPT (Computer Proficiency Test): 100 Marks. Must score 40% to pass. CPT Syllabus: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint, Internet.
